Jimi Hendrix: The Story of the Lost Sex Tape is the latest release from Kaleidoscope. This controversial new title combines 11 minutes of sex footage with a retrospective of Hendrix’s career in the 1960s.
This long-lost rock artefact was laid to bed and forgotten until 2007, when rediscovered in a job lot at auction. The 8mm film labelled only as “Black Man” shows Jimi Hendrix, the music legend, in the most surprising of never-before-seen surroundings. He was “fabulous in bed and really pleased his partner,” confirmed ‘super-groupie’ and Hendrix sometime partner, Pamela Des Barres.
Authenticated by Hendrix experts and historians, the deciding verdict however came from the infamous artist, Cynthia “Plaster Caster’, who cast Jimi’s penis in plaster during his 1970s prime. “No doubt about it, that’s his dick and I should know!”
